Tender jobs with equipment certainty

Learn how yellowgate can support your tender process with off-balance sheet equipment delivered to your schedule

Tendering is hard enough without equipment uncertainty sitting in the middle of it.

Whether it’s the civil, mining, construction or haulage space you work in, you can have the right team, the right capability, and a solid delivery plan, but the plant schedule can become the sticking point when it comes to winning new work. Availability, pricing and mobilisation uncertainty can mean you’re tendering with assumptions that often feel risky.

How Yellowgate can help

Before the tender goes in, our team can help with sourcing plant, scheduling and pricing, so that when you’re ready to move, everything is aligned and the equipment you need can be mobilised at speed, with ease.

Here’s what the process looks like:

1) Confirm the spec

Tell us what you need, including:

  • make and model preferences
  • required attachments
  • site and access requirements
  • compliance needs (including site and mine-spec)
  • mobilisation timing and transport

2) We source the right equipment

We tap into our supplier network to find equipment that matches the spec you require. Our experience and deep industry connections mean we can source the hard-to-find equipment that others can’t, and ensure the timing of its delivery is realistic and achievable.

3) We provide clear rental pricing

We provide Rent to Own pricing upfront, so you can submit your tender knowing:
• the equipment plan is backed by confidence
• the pricing is clear
• mobilisation has been considered from day one

And if you win the work, you can be confident that the equipment schedule is taken care of.

If you’re working on an upcoming tender and your plant availability isn’t locked in yet, get in touch to see how we can help.

Equipment certainty drives confidence

We see how often equipment uncertainty undermines otherwise strong tenders. The capability is there and the team is ready to move. The sticking point is whether the plant will be ready to roll when the job starts.

The Yellowgate procurement advantage:

  • Your equipment schedule is backed by realistic availability
  • Mobilisation dates line up with the start date
  • Equipment pricing is locked in
  • Your team can focus on materials, staffing and infrastructure knowing the equipment schedule is taken care of

For contractors stepping into larger infrastructure work, that type of clarity builds credibility fast. For established operators running multiple sites, it keeps mobilisation steady and predictable.

How Rent to Own works

1. You win the work

Once we receive your signed rental agreement and any required upfronts, we move fast.

  • we secure and purchase the equipment from suppliers
  • we coordinate any site-required extra specifications
  • we arrange mobilisation and delivery to site on the nominated schedule

2. You get to work

You use the equipment for the agreed term and manage day-to-day maintenance and operating costs. Rental payments are paid monthly, which helps you manage budgets once the job is underway. If you choose to purchase the equipment at the end of your rental period, a portion of your rental payments are applied as a rebate off the cost of ownership.

3. At the end of the rental term

You choose what suits your next move:

  • Purchase the equipment at the agreed discounted price
  • Keep renting, month-to-month or recontract at a reduced rate
  • Return the equipment with no further obligation

When Rent to Own makes sense

Rent to Own isn’t designed for short-term or occasional use. It works best when the equipment will be working every day. It’s a good fit for:

  • projects running 12 months or longer
  • ongoing or rolling contracts
  • work where the same gear is needed continuously

If that describes your next job, get in touch.

Removing equipment barriers

Tender submissions carry enough pressure without plant availability and pricing adding to the stress. Equipment uncertainty is a common friction point, and it can weaken an otherwise strong bid.

Plant availability, pricing, and mobilisation timing don’t need to be open questions.

If youve’ got a tender coming up and the equipment schedule isn’t locked in yet, contact us to see how we can help. We’ll confirm the spec, structure the pricing, and ensure the plant is accounted for from day one. You tender with confidence, knowing the gear is taken care of. If you win the work, we execute.
